Bullying is common in our schools today. Many children, unfortunately, have been victim to bullying. Are there bullies in the real estate business?
We’re all bullies to a certain degree. The definition of a bully according to the free online dictionary is someone who is habitually overbearing to a weaker person.
There are agents who habitually put an effort into being the dominant, forceful, assertive and, in some cases, the intimidating person in a transaction. Bullying is common in real estate. Quite often it’s the first step in creating the deal from hell, if both agents are bullies!!!
One would assume we’re all on the same team, but in this business, we’re always going to find an aggressor; a person who wants to control the show; the person who thinks he/she’s the top dog and calls all the shots. "Those who can, do and those who can't bully." How many real estate bullies do you know?
