We continually read blog posts about real estate agents who are successful at a variety of tasks in this industry. Some feel they are good listing agents, buyer agents, rental agents and a variety of other jobs.
How do you define the word "success?" Is success measured by the amount of money one earns? Is it defined by the number of closed listings, sales or rentals? Is success determined by the number of years of survival in this industry?
We each have some type of contribution or legacy that we will leave behind after we have retired from the business. We all leave footprints in the sand. Our true success will be based upon how many other footprints there will be superimposed upon ours, or will we have taken this journey alone without ever having known?
