After reading Paula Hamilton's post titled "Remaining Consistent" it inspired me to share my thoughts on the desire to compete. I was always a listing agent because of the fact that I love a good competition, and I hate to lose. There's a driving force in all of us that wants us to win. Some of us possess an intense force while others have a touch of this influence.
Mine is intense. I love a good competition. There is an impetus, an intense desire to compete, and the motivation to win that triggers my craving for more.
There's a driving force that gives me strength to continue. It's never about money. The hunger for establishing an identity that compliments that appetite for success begins early in life.
To remain consistent is a requirement for success. Competition is healthy and as long as it's not destructive competition, it will lead you to a better place within your business. Do you dare reach for a star?
