It’s always a good sign when your builders ask you to start looking for their next project. That’s a good indication that they have confidence in the market in our area and want to be prepared to continue construction when our current communities are sold out.
Today, I received an email via ActiveRain with information about a small approved subdivision plus a few other lots in another town from an area land owner. It’s also another good sign when people you’ve not done business with in the past have found you and state that we’re known for selling new construction!!
Our entire standing, new construction inventory is sold, and we are now working on fall closings with our future transactions. We’re finishing the first half of 2011 well beyond where we were in 2010 at this point, and we are on track for an award winning 2011.
I need to pick up the pace and the intensity of my marketing to finish the year well, and our team members are all in gear to get to the finish line in good standing. We must always work and market as if the next correction is just around the corner.
