When you set goals for yourself, do you set them in terms of dollar amounts, number of transactions, number of sides or commission money? Or all of those items. Along with production, there might be other items on that list of goals to attain.
Do you consider helping others as one of your goals? Sometimes, when we give others a new light on their ability to accomplish some goals, we’ve achieved success ourselves. When we guide someone through the process of marketing; or the function of listing property and how to compete with other listing agents; or just setting attainable goals for production, we have accomplished very important tasks and those are goals that make us winners in our profession.
It’s not always what we take from the business that counts, but what we are able to contribute that means the most. Think about how you’ve helped someone in the real estate business who is trying to accomplish success with a certain task. What can you add to the equation to make it work?
