Just as the title states in the 1970's hit by Karen Carpenter, "We've only just begun." It's been 5 months of blogging on ActiveRain, and after submitting 490 blog posts, I feel that this exercise has become a way of life and a marketing standard for me, but I've only just begun!!!
After networking with a tremendous cross-section of real estate bloggers, it's quite evident that there are more good people in this profession than ever before. The standards of practice in our profession are exemplified on ActiveRain in an honorable and highly proficient fashion by most of the participants of the ActiveRain community. When someone does cross the line, it doesn't take long for a reaction and the domino effect to kick in. It's not only amazing and entertaining, but there are many lessons to be learned from AR bloggers, and that's one of the reasons I return every single day for more. My team members and I have experienced a tremendous improvement and an increase in the volume of business. Our open house events have seen more traffic, and our transactions have increased with the addition of blogging everyday via ActiveRain.
My contribution of sharing this information about ActiveRain to my office members and inviting them to join and share in this real estate marketing phenomenon called blogging is beginning to work in a positive manner. I have invited many and 41 have accepted my invitation. I am now watching them join ActiveRain to blog to the public not just to members only. The thirst for Google Juice is kicking in. That's how I am paying forward to others what ActiveRain has done for me and my team members.
