We all know the value of online marketing, or we would not be devoting so much of our marketing time to this task. There are many potential sellers and builders who do not understand its value.
Not only do we have to continue to educate ourselves with the details of attaining as much SEO as possible, but we are also required to educate our future and present clients with what all of this means to them. Unless we have a firm understanding of SEO, we will be stymied at our listing presentations. The competition is fierce in this challenging market and we need to be at the top of our game.
Do you remember your first exposure to online marketing? I certainly remember mine because it was not that long ago that it began!! I remember a Google search for the term SEO!!! That’s right…I didn’t know what it meant!!!
Don’t think for one moment that all of your sellers and/or builders are knowledgeable about SEO. They are not. It’s up to you, the agent, to make sure you are up to par with your level of knowledge, so that you can go forth and educate your potential client in a simple, understandable manner.
The more you know, the better your advantage over the majority of the brokerage community. Those agents are your competitors, and we all know that Knowledge Is Power. Continue to educate yourself, and your income will grow proportionately.
