Sometimes, we need to remember that every listing is not going to sell. We've all had them. Some of them have had accepted offers, but for one reason or another, the transaction died. Maybe the seller had to file bankruptcy and the home was going back to the bank; or maybe the buyer lost his job and was not financeable any longer.
We need to learn to forget about the past and move forward. Don't dwell on the time devoted to that past transaction, or the money that may have been dedicated to marketing. It's all part of doing business.
Rather than wasting emotion over money we have not earned (because we have not earned our money until it closes) we should be focused on our next move forward. It's "onward and upward" that keeps us on track. If you "lose one," you'll "get two."
