This is a survival of the fittest business. Think ahead or be left behind are my thoughts. With every transaction, one needs to think of what could happen at the next step to cause a problem with each particular situation.
Every transaction is different, and no one can do this business with their eyes closed. There are builders who can build the same home over and over and they actually say they can build that home with their eyes closed. So many DO turn out that way!!!
We don’t have that privilege. Real estate agents need to be on their toes from the time they show the home to the point of the deed being recorded. Unsuspecting occurrences happen, and if one were to think ahead and attempt to nip it in the bud before it blooms, that agent is more likely to have smooth transactions with every deal.
Thinking ahead and preventing disaster will afford you the time to put more transactions together; to list more homes; to have more free time and to enjoy this profession even more than you do now.
