When a method works, is there a reason to change it? We read about agents who continually try new means for accomplishing an end, and I’m sure there are some successful attempts with this technique. Could some of this be considered haphazard and a hit or miss method of selling real estate?
If a program works, why fix it? If the public has been conditioned to a style and a certain approach from an agent, changing that routine is not necessarily the best system. If it’s producing for you, continue to use it in its present form. If you fix it, and it’s not broken, expect a gap in your production to be created.
I’ve always been in favor of establishing a procedure that works and maintaining it until it fails. At the point of breaking down, change is needed, but there is something haphazard and chaotic about an impulsive change in your real estate practice. Change needs to be controlled, or it could be counterproductive, or maybe it’s just the heat!!!
