Seller’s attorney, you know the buyer defaulted and you negotiated a few thousand dollars of the deposit for the seller to retain. Good job on that effort!! So why are you requesting that this seller, who has no money and is attempting a short sale on her home, pay you a thousand dollars?
Seller’s attorney, we all worked hard and did our respective jobs properly, but the listing agent doesn’t get paid unless papers pass and the deed is recorded, and rightfully so. Why are you asking for money from a seller who HAS NO MONEY?
Did you do more work that the real estate agents? No, you didn’t. The bank grabbed most of the deposit as a condition of accepting the next short sale. That’s robbery, and you following suit makes you a robber too!!
Is the listing agent the only team player who is on the side of the seller? What ever happened to teamwork? When the chips are down, the real players surface. This seller got the short end of the stick and you, seller’s attorney, have been permanently cut from the team!!!
