We Are Never Dealt A Hand With A Gender Card....Hope You Aren't Either!!

I read a comment today on one of my posts and that commenter used the “gender card” in her response.  I usually don’t think of gender being a major factor in whether or not my team members win or lose a piece of business. 

My thoughts on the gender of an agent and how that gender influences the decisions of a homeowner never come into play in my thought process.  I’ve always thought of female agents as more attentive to the needs of a client and fully capable of competing. 

Female agents are instinctively more sensitive to the desires and necessities that each homeowner experiences in the process of selling a home.  Female agents are more in-tuned to and understand the great variety of emotions that homeowners experience during marketing. 

Men usually don’t have those instincts.  Whether the agent is male or female, follow up and follow through is not a gender quality, it is a pure sales experience and proficiency quality. 

Whether male or female, the amount of business one can successfully manage is in direct proportion to that agent’s organization and time management skills.  Many female agents are self-supporting and do a great job of managing a home, children and a business.  Now I’m not saying that a man couldn’t manage all three, but how many do???   Just asking!!!!
