Who’s your worst enemy? Is it your ego? I’ve seen more real estate agents self-destruct because the strength of their ego exceeds all other personality traits.
When decisions are made based on ego not common sense and reality, the results can be damaging. When an ego reigns during decision making moments, everyone loses. A solid sense of rational reasoning vanishes.
We’re working a fine line every day when we self-promote. We are reinforced by the recognition we receive from the general public and that can easily lead to future ego oriented behavior. We need to be mindful and conscious of the negative results when our ego takes over. We can be “our own worst enemy.”
