How many times have I read a comment on one of my posts or someone else's post that says "I wish you lived here" to mentor the agents here??? I think ActiveRain is a community of mentors.
We each have our specialties and niches that we focus on every day. Each of us is actively participating in writing posts about what we do for a living. Some of us go that extra step and describe "how we do it." These are the "online mentors" of ActiveRain.
These individuals are professionals who want to improve our industry. Their past experience is of great value to newly licensed agents, as well as agents who are searching for the right niche. This information is invaluable.
The old adage that "talk is cheap" certainly doesn't apply to blogging on ActiveRain. Blogging is a method of mentoring that not only provides detailed information, but many different scenarios from many different agents. One has the ability to combine the best features of many different styles. That could never be accomplished via mentoring by one mentor. Just sharing a thought!!!
