Where is your next deal coming from? Do you have any idea? Do you know where your current deals came from? We should be tracking the origin of our transactions in order to stay on course and continue in that same direction.
Most of my team’s listings are directed to us via direct mail marketing. The past few months have been off kilter with our traditional listing phone calls. I attribute that to the summer months, and it’s also a sign of the times.
Most of our open house events have produced buyers for our new construction. The majority of those transactions are with buyer agents. The only buyers we represent are our sellers, if they intend to relocate locally.
Online marketing is another source of marketing that creates business for us. I submitted a total of 13 open house posts today on ActiveRain, Trulia and Wordpress. I have 8 of the 10 titles on the first page of a Google search for “open house July 31 franklin ma.”
The postcards will continue to be mailed every month, open house events will be held every weekend and blogging will continue on all of the current sites. Where will our next deal come from? It may be an open house; or a postcard; or a blog post. We’ll take that deal, document its origin and keep working until the next one arrives!!
