Why Does It Work For Some But Not For Others?

well oiled machines make moneyWhy does it work for some but not for others?  I’ve had the pleasure of training many new real estate agents over the past 33 years, and it’s always a surprise as to who makes the cut and who doesn’t.  It’s like “trying out” for any competition.  Some win, and others will fall to the wayside.

We all assume that the most intelligent will soar, but that’s not necessarily how it works in our business!!  The most successful agents are the ones who are most flexible.  They are pliable; they are adaptable to any situation; and can be chameleons when the opportunity demands.

Our business requires that each agent possess those special traits.  The elements that allow them to network better than most; blend in with the good, the bad and the ugly; and have the knowledge needed to close a variety of personalities on whatever real estate is in focus. 

If one starts a career with any of the important components missing, it doesn’t mean they will fail in the real estate business.  I’d rather describe it as a bump in the road.  Some bumps take longer to clear than others, but that’s what makes our business of creating “well-oiled machines” challenging.  Are you up for that challenge?
