How much of your business is attributed to "gut feeling?" We all have that special instinct. That whisper in our head that encourages us to respond in a certain manner has a great influence on how business is handled.
Some of those decisions are pure assumption and that can be dangerous. We learned from day one in real estate to Never Assume Anything. How quickly we forget, after experiencing a few positive situations because of our "gut feeling."
This can be a detriment if one does not follow through properly with a potential piece of business because of a "negative gut feeling." There are times when we have convinced ourselves that we now have developed a "sixth sense" because of our success and comfort level in our business. Billy Wilder stated "Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone else's!!"
