Another Successful Method Of Marketing Is Open House Events

I’ve recently written about my 2012 marketing plan that includes Internet marketing and direct mail marketing.  The third method of marketing that is a very important part of our marketing plan is open house events.  My team and I are advocates of open house events and do them every week, without fail.

In reviewing our results and success with this method of marketing, there are very few changes that will be incorporated in our open house program.  We will be hiring two or three more agents to further assist with our open house events. 

We will need additional help with the vision of more new construction coming online in 2012.  Each agent is assigned to a new community and thoroughly trained to provide good information and to intelligently communicate this information to our visitors. 

Some things do not require change.  I’m a firm believer of the theory that states if it’s working, don’t change it.  Our open house events work well for us and provide us with new buyers for the subject property; additional buyers for other properties; new listings for us to market; and other new construction when we’re visited by other builders. 

Visitors to open house events come in all different forms.  We’re always prepared and welcome other builders; potential buyers; potential sellers and last but certainly not least is other real estate agents. 

We always welcome buyer agents and will always honor them if they send their buyers or if their buyers wander on their own.  Every buyer agent will get paid in full.  That’s a policy that will never change.
