Business has improved from 2010. We have seen a steady stream of buyers and showings. Offers are being submitted and the majority of them are being accepted. Now is the time to step up your marketing.
What are you doing right now for marketing? My direct mail marketing has now doubled in volume, especially for niche marketing such as our active adult community open house events. I've been sending postcard invitations to my 55+ database of many thousand names.
Open house events are now being held on Saturday and Sunday every weekend. We are seeing as many visitors on a Saturday as we do on Sunday. We need to capture those buyers while the market is improving because as we all know, this could change overnight. Nothing is forever in the real estate business!!
Blogging continues to occupy most of my marketing time. Today, I posted three open house events on ActiveRain and two on Wordpress. Both of those posts will drive traffic to our open house events this weekend. Within the past few weeks, we have sold several new condos and have been hired to market the homes of those buyers. There is business out there, and we are working "double time" right now to make sure we capture our fair share. Are you spending more time marketing to secure as much business as possible?
