This is a chart that displays active, pending and closed LAND TRANSACTIONS in Franklin MA to this date for 2010. Franklin was the fastest growing town in the 1990's and land was selling at a premium. Our developers/builders created many subdivisions.
Today, we have land that has been on the active market for over a year. It's another sign of the times. Banks are not loaning on speculation. Our least expensive lot is currently available for $275,000 and the most expensive single lot is offered at $375,000.
Subdividable parcels are on the market for $795,000 to $850,000.
There is one pending sale for 31 acres of subdividable land at $750,000.
Franklin has four closed land transactions that range from $85,000 for a single lot to $230,000 for a lot in an upscale subdivision.
