2010 Closed Land Sales-Current Pending Land Sales.
This chart is a reflection of the land sales that were consummated in 2010 and the current pending land sales. There is currently one pending land sale for $750,000 for a 31 acre tract of land for a future potential subdivision that is in the area of an existing subdivision of luxury homes.
The closed land transactions in 2010 ranged from $85,000 for an in-town lot to $230,000 for an acre lot ready to build upon within an existing subdivision. The demand for lots is less than desirable right now and land owners are not reaping the numbers that were previously in existence. Financing land is a challenge today.
