Confidentiality is a very important issue in our business. It's the side of our business that will determine how successful one becomes in the future. One's reputation is a reflection of the degree of professionalism that radiates. When confidential information is leaked, the ears who are the recipient of that leak will, at that moment, realize how unprofessional the agent is. At that instant, the agent has just degraded himself to a level that is revolting.
Confidentiality is the backbone of trust. Confidentiality is the moral fiber that weaves a blanket of faith and loyalty between the agent and client. Confidentiality is a serious issue in the real estate profession and the degree to which it is practiced will be a major factor in determining the measure of success for a client in distress. Agents must not take this lightly and should handle each transaction with the greatest level of protection for every client.
