The 32nd Feast Of St. Rocco in FranklinMA....A Four Day Family Event Enjoyed By All

Saint Rocco is the Patron Saint of the sick.  For the past 32 years, in the Town of Franklin MA, the four day Feast of St. Rocco is held for the families of Franklin MA and all visitors to the town.  St. Mary's Church is the Roman Catholic Church in the Town of Franklin with over 15000 parishioners, and St. Mary's Church is the host of this marvelous festival.

Whenever there is a festival in the Town of Franklin, there is Italian food.  It's just like being in the North End of Boston or in Federal Hill in Providence, R.I.  The food is spectacular from the cannoli's, lobster tails with fresh cream, manicott, ravioli, sausage and peppers, Italian

tomato salad, stuffed quahogs, calzones, pizza, eggplant subs, penne, meatball subs, clam chowder and clam cakes just to name a few of the more popular items.

This year there were weight watcher items.  It's tough to stick with that diet with all of the homemade Italian food available.  Did I mention that Ricotta Pie also joined the pastry booth this year too!!

The Todaro Family had a great time there and visited the feast several days of the four day event.  My children and grandchildren love to eat.  And did I mention that they love Italian food????

The police officer in the photo is Officer Rick Grover.  My children grew up with Rick and he's a wonderful policman.  In the photo underneath the Officer Grover is my son, Michael Todaro.
