Thinking about those times in the past when I needed business and I was down to my last few deals, brings back memories of how everything always worked out well. There’s no secret to surviving, even in a tough market.
There will always be buyers and sellers. The question is who will be working with these prospects. They’re not hiding. They’re visibly working to accomplish their financial goals. They may be engaging more than one agent and that’s a common occurrence.
Sellers interview at least three agents before they make a final decision about selecting an agent to market their home. How do they find you? Are you visible online? If you Google “Free Market Analysis” in your town, who appears?
The most important task that any agent MUST accomplish is to become visible. Your visibility must be noticeable in more than one form of marketing. Signage is another method of becoming visible to the general public. The more signs you have planted, the greater the chance of receiving a call from the signs. Perception is reality.
Work consistently at marketing yourself online. Your goal should be to take over the entire first page of a Google search for whatever you’re trying to accomplish. Offer that Free Market Analysis online and you’ll eventually have the majority of signs in your town as a result of this online marketing. This is the best way to stay in business in a tough market.
Every couple of weeks, write a post or post a chart offering a Free Market Analysis. More people are becoming Google oriented. If one needs a service, they Google It!!! Be VISIBLE…..and you’ll always have business!!!
