
Last weekend Jerry Bluhm, one of my two team members, had an open house at a condo community in Stoughton MA. I mailed open house invitations to all members of that condo community and the total was 600+. There was a good turnout, and they all came from the mailing. Two of the visitors called Jerry for listing presentations on their condos. One of the condo owners also has another property that they asked for a market analysis on.
That's a great open house. The subject condo did not sell yet, but the auxiliary business that surfaced from that open house was terrific. This is just another positive result of holding open house events. They are not just for new construction or single family homes. Older condo communities are a great source of business, and this is exactly how to tap into that business.
You network with the visitors during an open house. They have an opportunity to speak with you in person about the property that you're marketing, and they witness your ability to market the property. After they leave, they decide if they like your style or not. Jerry does a great job and is very knowledgeable. More listings are coming this week for Jerry Bluhm !!!
