We each spend endless hours online in order to create a presence that will result in the phone ringing. Every agent has his/her own methods of self- promotion. Most of us spend a generous portion of our income on maintaining a presence in the eyes of future prospects.
After spending all of this time, energy and money on staying alive in a very challenging market, how long do you think it will take to be forgotten? After decades of marketing, people will not remember you from your ads or your Internet presence. They will forget quickly!!
The agent who does his/her job well is the agent who will be remembered long after that agent has left the business. Professionalism; acts of kindness; caring about the client and that client’s outcome; and being there when you’re needed the most are the factors that trump every method of self- promotion.
Do you want to be remembered? Go above and beyond when you do your job. You'll either be remembered for the problems you solved or the ones you created!!!!!
