The best part of being a Newbie is that the newly licensed agent doesn't know anything about the business, and that's a good thing. Newbies are the virgins of the real estate business. They have no habits because they have not been exposed to seasoned agents with bad habits. They are eager, energetic and have a hunger for knowledge.
When an office hires a newly licensed agent, you'll notice that the other agents in the office take on a new attitude. Fresh blood in an office is a positive addition, especially when that new agent brings in new business immediately. That will make the low man on the totem pole stand up straight and start working. It's a reminder to all that everyone and anyone can be replaced and usually with someone who is better.
New agents can be molded and trained to do those important tasks in real estate that most seasoned agents do not enjoy doing. They're easy to mentor because they are like a sponge ready and willing to absorb information. They will mirror you to a degree that is laughable and may even create some jealousy within the office, almost like a teacher's pet scenario. I love new blood and the enthusiasm that it naturally creates. Newbies should be proud of themselves. They are an entity that is in big demand in my book.
