We're now half way through the year, and 2010 has been a tough one!! We had a carrot dangled before our eyes, the home buyer tax credit program, and now it's over. That tax credit program brought many agents some hard earned, seriously needed income for the first half of the year. Now what?
Without a tax credit, many buyers are eliminated from having the ability to purchase, especially first time home buyers. This is when you need to have a marketing plan in place. It's time to focus on move-up buyers, in my opinion. Interest rates are low, and there is inventory available.
Move up buyers, and seniors ready to make that final purchase into an active adult community, will be the next target for marketing for many agents, in my opinion.
Our adult communities are selling well, and I feel that our marketing plan is on track to capture our fair share of that sector. The last stretch of 2010 is ahead of us, and we need to beef up our marketing in the right direction to maintain our level of production through the end of the year. Are you prepared?
