Are you prepared for the near future? Not the distant future, but the very near future when the "dog days" of summer are over. When 100 degree weather is gone, where will your business be? Are you preparing now for the Fall and the Winter months? It's been a long summer, for sure, and it's not quite over, but that doesn't mean the Fall and Winter will be any more improved unless you have a game plan to increase your business.
What's your plan? Whatever is on that back burner, should be ready to move forward. I've been preparing my database of bank contacts for more subdivisions. Hopefully, some of them will be active adult communities. I feel that new condos have been our saving grace for the past two years. New construction has been a blessing to me from day one, and I will always promote others to address the challenge of learning to market that entity.
Having a good cross section of new homes and condos in your inventory is a fine way to continue to make the phone ring and to increase your database of names and numbers by visitors to open house events. Open house events are the key in marketing new construction. Come one, come all and view everything in our inventory. We provide open house events at all of the sites every weekend, and we bounce visitors from one site to another. We've had great results from this. Multiple open house events work wonderfully. If one subdivision is not so busy, we can resolve that easily. Energy radiates easily when there are many participants.
