Houston, we have a problem!! There are too many agents and not enough business!! Did I tell you something you didn't already know? We are all jumping at the same dollar and only one person will walk away with it. It's like a football fumble that will be recovered by one player, and that player's team will control the ball.
You need to search for that special area that hundreds of real estate agents in your area have not attempted to secure. In my area, new construction is that niche. My team has five subdivisions, and we are the only agents in town with this amount of inventory. There is one subdivision in town not listed by my team, but it is not competition for us. The more inventory you have of one concept, the more likely you are to capture most of the buyers in your area who are interested in that type of real estate.
Rather than wasting time and energy competing for the same business, new construction communities are a perfect option in today's market for us. When you have new construction communities, you will never be without listings or buyers. It certainly beats playing in a blood bath to survive!!
